ZoonDabb: A Balcony Where Mountains Speak

ZoonDabb is our traditional wooden balcony terrace — a quiet threshold between shelter and sky. From here, the land opens gently, revealing layer upon layer of mountains, each fading into the next, creating a living landscape that changes with light, season, and weather.

On clear days, the distant snow-capped peaks of Gulmarg come into view, resting beyond the horizon like a painted backdrop. The contrast between the deep greens of Poonch and the white crowns of the higher mountains creates a scene that feels both grounding and expansive.

This balcony is more than an architectural feature; it is a place of pause. Guests sit here with morning tea, listen to the wind move through the valleys, and watch clouds drift slowly across the ridgelines. The experience is unhurried, uninterrupted, and deeply calming.

Rooted in local tradition, ZoonDabb reflects how homes in this region have always engaged with nature — not by dominating it, but by opening toward it. From this terrace, the mountains do not feel distant. They feel present, layered, and alive.
